The Infrared Thermometer sensor is made of robust stainless steel and can be used in harsh industrial environments. The Infrared Thermometer head is separated from the electronics and may be used at ambient temperatures of up to 250°C / 482°F. The Infrared Thermometer PCE-IR 33 is protected according to IP65.
