This lens, with excellent optical characteristics, allows to inspect and measure even small three-dimensional objects.
Since the optical group, and therefore the measurement scale, may be moved with respect to the supporting surface, the observer can obtain perfect focusing during measurement.
The 10 mm decimal measuring scale is engraved and is inclined on a half metal disk located at the bottom of the base.
The observer must hold the object to be examined with one hand, and use the other hand to rest the lens on the part to be inspected; by adequately inclining and positioning that part of the object towards a light source it is possible to easily take accurate measurements.
